This year my writing hasn't been going so great. I just don't have time to get everything done and I just fell worn out after work. I think the constant late nights are getting to me.

That said I am trying again with my attempt at MinNoWriMo this year, which should be interesting, I hope. Details are under the cut.

I'd like to apologise for the mess while I was editing one of my posts. I thought I had the LJ-cut thing down but that was a real mess. So once again sorry.
It was meant to be a NaNo update :(

Since my last post , things have progressed with 'Notes on a Scandal' . The first chapter is going well so far and I  have finally organised a beta from FAP. She seems really nice and enthusiastic about working on the story, so now I feel a bit more motivated to get on with it.

I decided to give this place a bit of a makeover as frankly I didn't like the look of it that much. It's not ideal as yet but at least it doesn't irritate me to look at it like the other one did. A special mention must go to palovana who provided the rather foxy icon of Warlord Nygard from the infamous 'Rasputin' video! Even though I've been quite vocal about my utter dislike of the girls in batty riders in the video, the man is way too fine for his own good. Just look at that face! He really is very good looking without the war paint. Not that I don't like the paint, it's an integral part of the band's image but I'm just saying...
*alright, fangirl squee over. I'm old enough to know better!*

Now, I'd better toddle off and do some work instead of hanging round 'sort of beautiful' and annoying myself with spoilers for 'Breaking Dawn'. I have a fic to write, godamnit!
